Data controller

For GDPR purposes, the controller is Szabolcs Gal, BSc for this website and for the offering described here under the public name “Zavenor”. “Zavenor” is how the service is presented online; the natural person Szabolcs Gal, BSc is the controller—not “Zavenor” as a separate organisation.

Email (current contact address for this site): [email protected]

Postal address: Szabolcs Gal, BSc Wiesenackerweg 2 2604 Theresienfeld Austria

Contact form and email

We use what you send through the contact form or by email only to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a quote. Messages go to our business mailboxes; delivery may use an email service we contract with. No advertising and no profiling. Legal basis: primarily Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contract steps) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (routine business inquiries). We keep messages only as long as needed for that, unless the law requires longer storage.

Language preference

When you actively select a language (for example via the EN/DE switcher or a language link), we save that choice in a small technical cookie named “lang” so your language persists on your next visit. No cookie is set on a first visit without an active language selection. The cookie only contains the value “en” or “de” and is not used for marketing or analytics. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Hosting and server logs

Hosting provider: the technical hosting provider used for this website. The host processes technical connection data when you load a page—for example IP address, time, and browser identifier—where that is needed to run the service reliably and securely.

Typography, layout, and scripts

Fonts, stylesheets, and scripts are served from the same host as the pages. Your browser does not load Google Fonts, the Tailwind CDN, or Chart.js from a third-party CDN. Demo pages with charts load Chart.js from this host too. We do not run separate marketing or analytics products on the site.

Retention

We delete contact messages when they are no longer needed for handling the inquiry or a related quote, except where a longer legal retention period applies.

Your rights and complaints

Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): where processing is based on legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — for example handling business inquiries or the language cookie — you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. A short email to the address above is enough.

You can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria: Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at.

Changes

We update this notice when our processing or legal requirements change. The version published on this website applies.
